Day 00

When she'd asked him such a question he somewhat paused, as if he had to think about it before he offered an actual smile that tugged at the stitches on the left side of his lips. "Don't let my looks or my dads fool you." he chuckled, obviously more comfortable now as he scratched at his cheek. "Oh this stuff?" he notioned to all the ... everything. "Between you and I, I don't get any enjoyment out of it unless someone's running a knife across my chest." that grin got a bit too similiar to one Zag might show for some's tastes, but he chuckled. "The baseball team always enjoyed my willingnes." he gave one last remark before perking up, "But I'm hungry let's go eat!" that grin didn't fade as he wandered down the stairs, not even waiting on a comment on that last line.
Zag followed close behind Lilith up until they were at the house, then he didn't even wait to make eye contact with Gaz as he stormed out of the room and into the study. Purple hadn't really thought anything about it as he continued his work on adjusting the pullie on Kari's chainsaw so it wouldn't catch anymore. That way it'd start when pulled the first time, not the fifteenth. Of course, when he heard Lilith's voice he simply turned on heel, chainsaw still very much in hand. Which... probably wasn't the best way to greet two new children and a woman. "Oh hey, welcome back!" he wriggled his fingers and then noted the horrified expression on the children's faces. Oops.
He quickly sat the saw back on the couch and dusted off his coat, "Erg-- who're these lil' things?" he approached once Lilith had them inside and the door shut, crouching down in front of them with a smile. "You two got names?" when he'd went to offer a hand out to shake, the crocadile hiding in Issac's shirt peeked out and hissed, which got him to draw his hand back. But the green shade quickly silenced the reptile and looked between Zane and Gaz, then to Lilith. "Issac." the child looked to Zane now, expecting him to also introduce himself.
Inside the study, there was silence as Indigo threw the axe and volt gun off to the side. This was all he could take, he wanted to curl up under the desk and scream it all away. But he couldn't speak, he could barely breathe, everything felt more surreal. He'd not mentioned it to Lilith or the boys when they were at the daycare... but perhaps he was hiding something he should have mentioned. When he'd been dealing with the dogs at the cafe, he didn't quite make it in untouched. In fact, the damned thing had bit right through his boots. After making sure the door was locked, he sat on the desk and pulled his shoes off, tossing them to the side as he inspected the blood coated spot on his sock. He was almost... just almost too afraid to lower the top. But with a long breath, he tugged it down and paled. The skin around the bitemark was darkened to an almost sickly blued-purple color. It wasn't the rottened look most zombies had, but it was infected past help that was sure. Perhaps he'd have been better off staying at the carnival, now he risked turning but... somehow he was okay with that. How many times had he been brainwashed and caught amnesia? Too many to count, this had to be like an advanced dose. His hands kept shaking as he reached down and ran his fingers over the mark, it didn't hurt as much as it felt like fire traveling up his calves, it only confirmed his fear that it would spread.

Standing there, not sure if what she heard was correct. Her expression was blank. Did he just say... She turned to look down the stairs of where Eventide went down, but as she stood there alone, she began to hear more voices down below and she slowly made her way down. An eyebrow was delicately raised as she was still getting over the fact E was gang banged and is a super masochistic person. Blinking a few times until she noticed the two younger ones. "Where did they come from?" She asked.
Zane began trembling at the sight of Gaz with a chainsaw, his fear caused the rooms temperature to drop noticeably. But it began to warm up once he smiled, he didn't seem like such a bad guy, after all, Lilith brought him here. Looking at Issac, Zane grabbed onto his arm and violet eyes began to stare hard at Gaz. ".... Zane..." He said quietly before turning half ways to peek at the person asking who they were. The way Kari was dressed made her look more masculine, which was to her liking.
Lilith glanced around wondering where Zag had disappeared to but didn't mention it, she wanted to be by the kids who were a bit nervous entering an unknown place. "Don't be afraid, Zane. It's alright here... Much safer than the daycare.. Don't you think?" Her eyes wandered over to Kari now while giving a slight smile. "I had to go... You would have gone too if it were me out there by my lonesome." Lilith said to her as Kari pursed her lips and glanced away, "Yeah yeah mom... You know I would have... I'm Kari, Lilith's kid. You kids hungry? Was just about to go look for a snack. Or a meal?" Kari said, pointing to Lilith And towards where she thought the others went.

Day 00

Issac kept a hand on Zane, making sure to follow him as close as possible with nearly glowing golden orbs. The mention of food however made him perk up and tug at the other boy's hand, "It's been awhile since we ate..." his voice went quiet before he simply tugged Zane's hand harder, "Yes yes, food it is!" he decided for them and drug the other male along with him behind Kari with a wide smile having spread across his face. Despite the weird factor of these people, they had a huge house and free food, so Issac wasn't about to complain. When the kids were all out of the room, Gaz wandered over to Lilith and looked her over. He was relieved no one was hurt to his knowledge, "You occupy the kids, I'm going to see what Zag's doing." he glanced to the side, "If I'm gone longer than a few minutes, send help he's probably robbing me." he joked before smiling, "Seriously though, I ain't back in ten minutes, come help." without another word he was on his way down the hall with an obvious tension to his frame. Zachary was an unexpecting kind of guy, you never knew if he was angry or upset... or both. Maybe one time he just yelled at you, the next maybe he threw an axe at your head... it all depended on his mood. Purple stopped outside the door, somewhat confused why it was locked, but the thing never clicked right so he simply pushed it open. Inside, he'd barely noticed Zag bandaging up his leg before his dull heterochrome eyes caught Gaz's. "What happened..." the secondary darted over to the other's side, running his fingers over the new bandages before his wrist was caught. That notion jarred him, but he didn't question it until Zag was standing and snatching the other wrist too. The room was small, maybe 10ftx10ft at the max with a huge desk already. So it didn't take him but a couple of steps to have Gaz pinned to the wall across from the door. "What are you doing--" he was silenced when he felt the other male grind his knee up between his legs just enough to send heat shooting up Gaz's spine. The previous dull colors to Zachary's eyes were now burning bright enough to illuminate against the other male's pale skin. "Don't deny me right now..." his tone was low, almost hungry in it's all. The animalistic attraction between the two of them had long gotten out of hand, especially behind closed doors. "Who knows if I'll live longer than this... one last taste.." the darker purple was already releasing the other's wrists and slipping his hands beneath his top, forcefully pressing their hips together. "Answer me something, Gaz... the truth. Give me nothing less than the truth." he didn't stop his actions, fingernails now being roughly dragged down pale skin until the other would whimper in protest.
"W-what is it?" his tone was already cracking as a bright pink flush worked over his face, hands gripping the material of Zag's striped hoodie. "Do you love me?" the other voice spoke over his own, lingering his lips just off of Gaz's cheek with hot breaths dusting freckled skin. Those words brewed around the Secondary's mind before he felt the hand at his belt begin to undo buckles and buttons. "O-of course I love you, Zag. Why wouldn't I?" Purple raised a brow before he pulled the other male's face back up so their eyes would meet, green and blue peering helplessly into orange and red.
Zag glanced away before shifting so the other male could unfasten his jeans, their spur of the moment heat practically sky rocketting by now. "I needed to hear that before I died." his comment froze up the secondary who took control. His hands gripped the other's sides as he led him back and forced him into the black office chair. Zag seemed even more confused as his jeans were stripped down. "If that's how you want to die, with nothing but a shitty love confession. Go ahead. Me? I need a little more than that." Purple's tone was heavier now, dripping lust off the edges as he squirmed out of his bottoms and smirked as the other male caught on.
It would take too long for them to preplan, it was now or never. Both purples were pushing limits they'd not passed in years, with not a question asked. Gaz practically tore a drawer open for a bottle of clear gel and once precautions were taken, it was nothing but animal heat. Once their hips collided the first time, that awkward spark was voided and it was back to old times. Zag pulled him into a passionate kiss, locking lips in a messily uneven fashion as he guided the taller male down in uneven strokes. The chair made it a bit more awkward the nessicary and was quickly disreguarded when Zag pinned him to the desk. Not even bothering with the papers that were fluttering to the floor. They weren't nessecarily interested in formalities it was just a need to meet more physically.
Zag paused, forcing himself deeper before slamming his hands down on either side of the male's head against the desk. "You're so much prettier when you're breathless." his words were hot, slurred on the edges and they got a breathless smirk from Gaz who'd already cracked the wood where his fingers were gripping the edge. "M-mutual." he purred when the other male pushed up his shirt and snatched a letter opener from the pen cup. "Let n-no one separate us..~" Zag's tone chimed before his hand gripped the other male's, both seemed to tense as he impaled the letter opener into their gripped hands, going straight through soft palms and impacting as a stiff movement into the oak top. This actually got a rather loud groan out of the taller, but he squeeze the hand now stuck to his own and bit his bottom lip. "Y-you better hurry up before they s-start looking for us~"
That flipped some strange switch and Zag's pace sped up, making sure to hit every sensitive spot he could for nothing but the sheer feeling of Gaz tensing around his length. The little squeaks and purrs coming from his Secondary got a breathless smile to work over his lips, but the burning sensation from the spreading infection was making his mental decsions a bit blurry. That scared him more than it should, but it also drove him a bit more needily into the other's frame. He leaned over him the best he could with their hands locked together like so, his lips trailed nips and kisses down the other's collar bone.. his skin tasted so sweet. Of course, Gaz had already began to notice that change simply because Zag had him completely locked in place, he couldn't even squirm out of the grip the other male had on his hip.
The changes became more obvious when he nailed Gaz's sensitive spot til' he had the Secondary dripping precum against his stomach, his breaths coming out in thick ragged pants. Zag's limit was already at it's height, but he wanted.. needed to throw the other male over first, that was his only remaining goal. He moved his hand from the other's hip to the curled twig on top of his head, which got a rather vibrant whimper out of Purple before it was jerked. The moment that twig was tugged, sparks shot down Gaz's spine and his vision went ghosted, his release spilling between their frames as he felt the other male's hips lock into his own and then the other's warmth filling his insides. That single gesture getting his eyes to roll back somewhat before Zag jerked his hand off the letter opener, their mixed bloods having pooled and smeared against the wood. Purple breathlessly glanced up, his dulled hues locking with now glassy white hues. "You're an asshole, y'know that? Z-zombifying ten seconds after cracking my desk..." he shook his head when Zag rolled his eyes. The now zombie Zag just stared down at him still, it's breath hot enough to actually make clouds through it's stitches. Gaz squirmed, forcing their bodies apart with a stiffled whine. The darker haired male had quickly redressed, which even for a zombie... was weird. The secondary just leaned up and watched him. It was like the process had went wrong somewhere, like it took his voice and not his mind. This got a smirk out of Gaz who despite being sore as hell already, was quick to readjust his clothing and inspect the bitemarks that now trailed all up and down his shoulders. Unlike Zag's they healed rather fast, leaving nothing but paled marks. "You okay, Zag...?" his tone trailed when he noticed this new zombie thing was starting to actually snarl at him. Like the whole jagged teeth business might have scared anyone at all, in fact it was hard to even see a difference. "Really? Now you're gon' lose your mind? Really? I might have taken advantage of the niceness." he rolled blue and green eyes before stalking over to the zombie. "Snap at me, and you're getting muzzled." Of course, when they were nose to nose the darker haired male gave a low growl, but was muffled when Gaz pressed a quick kiss to his lips. But being the zombie he was, he chomped down on one of the silver rings on Pur's bottom lip and tore it out before the other backed up. More so because he'd not been expecting his lip to be torn open, but he grinned as the blood ran down his chin, waving the hand already stained with blood. "Cool, Zag, we can do that." he waited a moment for Indigo to lunge at him before he turned the tables again and pinned him to the floor with a death glare. "Alright look, I was being all nice n' shit to you and your zombie self. But this is fucking ridiculous. First you zombify before I get off, then you rip my lipring out, and oh hell no, you try to throw me down. What the fuck, man?" he shook his head as the creature bit as his fingers and hissed to the pressure from where Gaz's knees were holding his arms down. "I mean, shit man. What would Orik say? Comin' home expecting his sexy-ass Indigo to be waiting at the door, and he's told that his little puppy has decided to go batshit and try munching his clone. Well, atleast that's how it would happen. If he wasn't DEAD." Gaz didn't know that for sure, but he knew that it would hit home. Did it? Absolutely, Zag went still, no longer fighting. His pearly hues glanced to the floor before he bit his bottom lip. "That's fucking right. He's DEAD and what are YOU doing? Acting on fucking impulse and getting yourself into some serious shit." he wiped the blood off his chin and rubbed it across Zag's cheek, "Making a fucking mess out of not only my face but my emotions, I should slam a saw through your skull. But I won't. Because there's no fun in losing links." his tone cracked, but it was still as serious as before. "Now you're going to act like a good zombie and if you act bad, I'll chain you to a desk and make you my personal blade tester." he perked a brow before glancing the creature over. Had someone been watching, they might be a bit concerned about how fast a ravenous zombie went completely obidiently by nothing but the louder sound of Gaz's voice.

In the kitchen where the younger ones are preparing themselves something to eat, Kari looked at the younger ones with a warm smile, "So, what do you guys want to eat? I'm thinking we should ration... It's a lot, but who knows how long we'll have to make it all last..." She reached up to rub the back of her neck.
Zane looked up at Kari then to the peanut butter and jelly sandwich she prepared herself. He wasn't picky. In fact, he stared at her sandwich with hunger written all over his face. He felt saliva build up in his mouth. Kari, noticing this, smiled at him and reached over to the sandwich and handing it to him. "There you go, buddy. Eat up. Now for you, little guy. What do you want?" She looked at Issac with a vacant smile on her face.
Lilith stood in the doorway of the kitchen, keeping her eye fixated on the clock. She wondered what was going on in that study, she didn't know if she should go in at exactly ten minutes or fifteen. A streak of red danced across her face at the thought of them two getting it on. But at a time like? The color on her face went back to normal thinking there was no such thing. And the things they do doesn't normally last ten minutes, does it? Curiosity killed the cat. But what the cat didn't know made her even more curious. Violet hues matching that of Kari's overtook the turquoise. She was dead curious. Twelve minutes pass, and she looked at Kari, "I'll be back. Maybe they'd like something to eat as well." Kari looked at her mother and gave a nod then turned her attention back to making something for Issac.
At the door, she stood outside of it. The door was left ajar and she can hear movement inside. Raising her hand, she gently tapped at the door giving a small 'knock-knock'. "Gaz...? Zach...?" She called in, pushing the door open some peeking her curious head in. A little scared that something might be thrown at her head for disturbing any sexual acts. She was all the way in, But as she seen the two figures with their pants down she instinctively shut the door behind her, in case any of the younger ones decided to follow. "Wh...what are you guys doing in a time like this?" She kind of knew, so she wasn't so surprised, but she swallowed her awkwardness. Letting out a giggle before turning her head so her eyes wouldn't wander off admiring the act. What a pervert Lilith is. "Just going to ask if you guys were hungry.. If not...." She turned her head to glance back at the two with half a smile and an eyebrow raised.

Watching Zane still, Issac wanted to say something along the lines of 'don't trust random food', but wasn't it his idea to seek out random food? Oops. The little green shade heard Kari speak but didn't respond at first, in fact he was kind of awkwardly staring at her as if she might try eating him. "Uhm..." his pitchy tone somewhat carried before he glanced around, "I like fruit.." was his only words, way to suddenly get awkward there Issac. Of course when he noticed the younger female across the room vacantly staring out the window he frowned, maybe she was sick? She looked like she was looking through the world, not really seeing anything.
Eventide glanced to where the kids were, he had a chance to speak but was more concerned with what Uri was doing. "Something up?" his tone was quiet as he propped against the wall beside her, only getting a twitch of ecru fox ears. "I have a weird feeling all ova' sudden." her tone picked up over his, eyes now moved to stare up at the slightly younger male with a frown, "You getting that vibe too? Ro and the other's haven't noticed I don't think. It almost feels like the heat hot asphalt puts off. But it's autumn so that can't be it..." when she'd finished, Eventide was somewhat more aware of the feeling as he looked out the window too. "Did you see our dad when he came in?" his tone was shallowed out now. She nodded."He feels it too. We'll have to be careful." the purple haired child sat down beside her, "Maybe it's just us though, it might be all in our heads. We haven't ate or slept much today so we might just be wearing down. It'll be okay, Uri." Of course, he didn't honestly believe a word coming out of his own mouth, but she did and that was enough for him to ease somewhat.
Back in the study, Gaz had finally heard Lilith's ending sentence and he glanced up with wide eyes. "O-oh hi!" he shifted a knee to press down on Zag's chest so he couldn't get up when the secondary eased. "Food sounds great!" his tone was somewhat still hoarse, but when he lifted his hands, Zag tossed him off and rolled away with a grumble. "Ah, Lilith...what do we do with him?" he pointed his clean hand's finger toward where Zag was just sitting in the floor staring with big milky eyes. "He said he'd gotten bit earlier, but he seems controllable..." there was an obvious catch in his tone, something that literally just told her that he wasn't fond of the idea of just cutting him apart. "We can't kill him, Uri needs atleast one parent..." the shapeshifter took a long sigh.
"Maybe we need to go look for other colors? I know, probably not the best time for me to suggest it after..." his face lit up bright pink, "That. But! We'll have to take shifts sleeping anywho... I'm betting Cyan would come if I called.." He had no idea what he was doing. None at all, Gaz wasn't a leader. Neither was he a follower, but they needed some sort of system if they were going to push through this calamity with all parties standing.

After finishing up making her sandwich, and listening to Issacs request she looked towards the fridge and opened it. Finding a vast amount of fresh produce. Now she wants fruit. Taking out some apples, strawberries, ah! A watermelon. Kari favours the color, texture and taste of watermelon. Green and red were her Favourite of all the colors, once she took out the melon, she placed it on the counter and took out a large knife and chopped it right in half. Looking in the cabinets, she found plastic wrap and wrapped half the melon an returned it to the fridge. Cutting the other half in slices and arranging them onto a plate along with apple slices, de-stemmed strawberries. Bringing it over to the table she motioned the kids over. Surprisingly, Kari would have gotten into making deserts for a living since she likes making sweets. Glancing over to Uri and Eventide, she pursed her lips and glanced over to Roka. "Come have some too, you guys. Fruit needs to be eaten before it goes bad..."
Zane had finished his sandwich and had begin to lick his lips then he looked over to Issac who was making his way to the fruit. Zane has a quirk to him, he has a duel personality, and it switches from timid to extrovert in a flash. A streak of light blue was always noticeable over his left eye through his blue grey hair, but from the root to the tip, it went to a dark blue almost instantly. His right eye color went from violet to a golden color, leaving him with heterochromia eyes. Following behind Issac pretending to be the shy and timid boy he was just a few moments ago. Seeing Issac pick up a strawberry he quickly swerved beside him and opened his mouth as wide as he could and ate the strawberry in Issacs fingers. Chewing the strawberry with his mouth open. Anybody would almost change their opinion about Zane instantly once this little boy, who calls himself Marcus, appears. Zane always feared for the future, but if anyone was to understand him, it would be Issac. Though Marcus and Issac don't get along, but it was only due to Marcus' liking to piss other people off. Marcus seemed a bit more mature for a 6, almost 7 year old. He almost acted like an annoying teenager more than a child at times. "Where th'hell are we, Issac? Weren't we at the daycare before that psycho bitch locked me in the room with her?" He no longer had that cute stutter when he was nervous. Yep. This is Marcus. Kari stood there shocked by the sudden change of personality. What was in that sandwich was her first thought as she glanced at the sandwich in her hand that she already had a few bites of.
Lilith, hearing that he got bit, made her way towards Zag with wide eyes focused on his bandaged wound. Taking notice of his eyes she stopped a few feet from him "He... He was bit...? H.. How...? Oh..." Her shoulders began to tremble, not out of fear of him but of fear that this happened because of her selfishness to go on and save Zane and leaving him alone. She shook her head and hugged herself, containing the urge to cry as she dropped to her knees. She believed this was her fault. And there's nothing she could do now to fix this. Lowering her head, she blocked everything that Gaz said to her out. "I'm.. I am so sincerely sorry... This... This wouldn't have happened to you if I haven't left you alone... I.. What's he going to say if he comes back and finds you like this... It's all my fault..." Tears began to slide down her cheeks and the trembling of her shoulders as she sobbed quietly. Looking up to Gaz, sniffling. "I'm sorry!" She cried out, thinking of Uri as well. How could she have left him alone. She blamed herself pretty hard for this.

Day 00
Jun 10, 2014 22:48:31 GMT
Post by Purple on Jun 10, 2014 22:48:31 GMT
When the older two were called over, they didn't hesitate in piling around the table with the other's and taking their fair share. The two of them had been close after Ren had died, maybe that was for the better. But with all the Obsidians in one place, that creepy simliarity was almost disturbing. Atleast they were good genes, just distinct, you could always spot one out and about. Eventide shifted his attention to Kari, "Y'think we'll be alright here? I mean. Obviously this place was built with this in mind, but.. y'know. Food n'stuff. It'd be easy to go hunting but.. after seeing the dogs it kinda makes me wonder y'know?" he shook his head, bringing a strawberry up before popping it between his lips in thought.
Oh sweet... delicious... damp fruit! Issac practically had stars in his eyes as he'd gone for a straw-- ... then Marcus ate it. A bright red flush shot across his face before his golden eyes went narrowed as he glared back toward him, "Geez, you're dull. The black haired lady came and got us, and then this guy with sharpie on his face!" those are stitches, Issac. "Should'a been there! They had a sword and an axe!" he seemed a bit excited despite how much he didn't care for the other male's alter ego. "Why're you even out? It's obnoxious on the eyes." Issac's eyes rolled, his crocadile happily chomping on the apple slice the little boy offered it. "I think that lady and the guy with the dorky glasses are talking to Sharpie? Dunno. He looked really sad before we got back" The slightly younger male's voice trailed, gaze shifting around before he thoughtfully bit the tip off of an apple slice, "I think his dog died or something?" Genius.
Gaz watched Lilith's reaction in something a bit closer to surprise. "Don't... c-.." when she was in the floor he took a step back. Purple was horrible at dealing with another's emotions, it scared him in fact. Mainly because when his emotions acted up, his personality swapped and his vision blacked out. The zombie however seemed to liven up when she was in the floor as he slowly wandered over and dropped to his knees in front of her. Zombie or not, he was still Zag, and his mind (yet full of static) was still very much in place. He might have been talking had he not accidentally locked his stitches up to avoid seriously injuring Gaz again.
The secondary was ready to impact an axe into the creature's back before he noticed the fact it had rather affectionately wrapped it's arms around the female's shoulders in a tight embrace. "Don't blame yourself." his tone was broken on the edges and barely above a whisper, but he'd managed to loosen his stitches. "One of those... dog things... got me on my way over here. Not your fault." he tightened up his grip again, somewhat nuzzling into Lilith's hair. "I'll tell him what I'm telling you, just don't cry." he somewhat glanced up to Gaz who offered something of a blood stained smile since his mouth was still healing from the abrupt biting earlier. "If you're sane now, Zag, I'm going to find a leash and collar. You bite my kids, and I'll bite your life in half." with a smile, the Secondary was across the room digging through a desk drawer, mind as well give those two time to agree it was no one's fault.

Kari turning her attention from the sudden change of attitude of Zane to Eventide who addressed her. "We'll be okay for the time being but when the time comes... We should build our strength up in case something like the were to happen..." Letting out a sigh before looking out the window at the dark sky. It's completely dark and it looked like the evening but it was only mid afternoon. "We'll be okay.." She repeated, most likely telling herself this.
The alter ego child took a liking to Issac's glare. And he reached out for another strawberry. With his fingers he squeezed a bit of its juices out, freezing it before popping it into his mouth, this time showing manners and chewing with his mouth closed. Marcus showed a bit of control over this ability, where Zane had no idea where it came from at all and it scared him. After swallowing the berry, he looked at Kari. "Black haired..." That wasn't her. He looked back at the older kids then back to Issac. "She's not like that cunt, Annie is she? I froze her ass to the floor when Zane thought she was dead. Lucky little shit! At least I have some conscious of what's going on while Zane here is acting all sweet and innocent. He would have been fucking dead! Fucking undead too if it wasn't for me! When's he going to realize that we're a fuckin' monstrosity that needs to between the fuckin' eyes. Not anymore though, heh. This is my kind of world. If only I was older and not in this little boys timid body.... One day he'll snap... And I'll have full control..." He began to get irritated and most likely was talking to himself at the end of his little speech. Nobody understands him when he talks like this, kind of scares people off. And his potty mouth, phew. His mother would usually smack him in the mouth when he begins to swear like a sailor. But he'd always bite her back which sent him to his room. Raising a brow to Issac. "Sharpie who th'fuck..." He furrowed his brows and climbed up onto the chair, noticing the last piece of the watermelon was gone he looked over to Roka who had it in his mouth. "You. Hand it over." Marcus never really cared about age difference, he'd pick fights with anyone. Nor did he understand the situation, with Zane fighting for control on the inside he winced as if he were struck on the head. "Nnngh... Fuckin' brat... It's my time now!" He put his hand onto his head as if he were having a migraine, fighting back for control.
Lilith, being embraced by the undead Zag, was shocked enough that the tears stopped. Unsure of what her next move was, she didn't know whether or not letting her guard down by a ZOMBIE was the best idea. She was at her end until she head the somewhat familiar voice of Zachary. She stayed there quiet in the embrace while he spoke until she reached up and returned the affection. "But still.... We should have acting more like a team... I'm sorry for that..." She returned quietly before leaning her head back, tears still streaked her face while she kept staring at him with a quizzical look, trying to understand why he hasn't turned into a viscous beast. "You're.. Not changing at all though... Just mostly your appearance.." Looking up to Gaz now while her arms still locked around the purples waist. "Colors.. Can't get infected all the way.. Or just Zach..?" She asked him, not even sure if he knew the answer himself.

The kitchen was nice and peaceful until Roka was challenged, but that seemed to fall on deaf ears. "Dad says only people with manners get to call the shots." he shrugged, fox ears twitching as he looked up to Eventide who was contently pouring himself something out of the fridge. Well, his bodyguard was useless. But when the other male started flailing around he just shook his head, "I'm so glad I'm normal." he mumbled under his breath and went back to nomming on the watermellon he'd managed to snag. Issac on the other hand was at the other boy's side with a frown, "You okay, Za-- ... Marcus?" he'd been quiet til' then but he suddenly had something of an idea. A bad idea, but it was an idea nonetheless. The dark green shade gripped the other's arm as tight as possible and let that acid touch kick in. Successfully scorching where his hand was, if anything that'd get some sort of singled out reaction.
Gaz continued his digging around, he knew there was one in here somewhere... aha! He pulled out a black collar and just stared at it. Maybe that'd fit, this wasn't like the one he wore. It was an actual, honest-to-god, dog collar. "This'll work well enough..." The secondary wandered over and latched it around his neck without disturbing the two, but he caught the question and simply shrugged. "I don't know Lilith, it's probably Zag's lack of organs. We shouldn't try our luck with it though, not until we've seen it in action." he'd nod before his attention trailed off. "We should get back to the other's..."
Of course, Zag blinked when she mentioned his appearance had changed. "H-how bad?!" he tugged away and darted to the mirror across the room. She was right, his outer appearance was different, his pupils were glazed over and his stitches didn't loosen as well as they needed when he spoke. And his skin color... it was a deadened blued white with his veins now a nice visible purple. "Oh dear god." his tone trailed, brushing his messy, now dulled out purple hair from his eyes. "If this were makeup I'd feel pretty good. But it's NOT." he turned on heel to where Gaz was casually sneaking out of the room. Of course, he waited til' the other two followed him before he'd actually began the walk to the kitchen.
Back in the kitchen, Uri had just took a long breath and stood up. She didn't like being apart from her dad -this- long, but when she met the adults just outside the door her eyes went wide. It was like a magnetic lock she had with Zag's glazed gaze, and by the look on Zag's face he was more horrified than she was. The foxling went weak in the knees as she staggered there, "W-why did you... why.." her eyes watered up and she brought a hand to her mouth, "Why would y-you do that t-to yourself..." the female looked to Gaz who went a bit more blank than he should have, "What will dad say..." Uri shook her head, now on her knees with her ears pulled back down against her hair. But it wasn't Zag that moved, in fact he just stood there and stared at her. One part of his mind was desperately wanting him to comfort her, but the other was confused.. not even sure how to handle it.

His arm being grabbed tightly made him open his golden eye peek out beneath those blue strands of hair that almost covered his eyes, wondering why he was being sympathized. Until he felt it. "What the fuc-!!" He felt the burning sensation but this time it sizzled the top layer of his skin. Jerking his arm away as the ice only forming a protective layer a moment too late since he was caught off guard. He looked at Issac with betrayal until the dark blue strand looked as if it got sucked back into his roots and the violet dominating the gold in his eye again. His hand was brought up to touch the ice where Issac had touched him, and his gaze lowered at it, the ice definitely made it fee better. His lips curved downwards into a frown but the pain was still there. "Wh... Why did you do that, I-Issa... I-it hurts..." He backed away a little before wondering why he was at the table instead of at the counter where he had finished his sandwich. "I.. I need to pee." He said finally, forgetting and forgiving what Issac had done to him, after all, Issac was the only one who stayed his friend after seeing Marcus, he couldn't stay mad at him for long. But Marcus on the other hand, was plotting his revenge. He looked down at his red sneakers, then glanced upwards to the doorways. Which one lead him to the bathroom? He wasn't sure. But he thought he better familiarize himself with the place if their parents weren't coming for them. Not so hungry anymore, he focused on the tingly pain sensation that felt like static. Like he was slapped really hard on the arm and the handprint was still there. He hoped it wasn't going to be a scar, but through the thin layer of ice he could see Issac's handprint. Moving from his spot he looked sullenly at Issac before lowering his eyes and sauntering his way around the house until he found the bathroom. Closing the door behind him and locking it. He slumped to the floor looking at his arm with tears swelling up. "Why do you always get me in trouble...?" He asked himself, knowing Marcus definitely heard. Lowering his head and bringing up his knees, he hugged them tightly while sniffling quietly.
Lilith was still slumped on the ground but seeing Zag's reaction to his appearance made her burst out laughing. "God, you two are such pretty boys." She said after regaining her senses. She knew she should have sympathized but the way he acted was down right hilarious. But seeing their reaction and looking past her she looked behind her and there she was. Uri. Who was downright devastated by the change. She looked back at Zag and Gaz that stood there. Not knowing what to do for the poor girl. Frowning now, she wished she hadn't of laughed. Getting up from where she sat she moved over to Uri and got on her knees beside her. Pulling the girl into her lap and hugging her close, giving her back a rub. "It's okay, sweetheart... I'm sorry you had to see him this way... He's... Not like those monsters out there. Not entirely anyway. Your father is still in there..." She said in a sympathetic tone as the girl wept. "There there.." She cooed, rocking side to side.

Day 00

"I had to... it's the only thing that makes you stop... struggling." he'd spoke before the other had wandered off. Issac didn't want to be alone, not now.. not ever. So what'd he do? He followed, jogging to where the door had shut and standing beside the door protectively. No one seemed to have followed them, thankfully. He could hear talking on the otherwise and then the sniffling. The green haired male couldn't take that, gods knew he wasn't as 'bad boy' as Zane liked to make him out to be. "Don't do that..." he mumbled and pressed his hands to the door, "Don't shut me out... you're not in trouble. I don't want him taking complete power... I'd be so lonely..." Issac's voice was cracking now, the light sound of the door sizzling could be heard beneath the sound of his quiet breathing, "Please open the door for me..." There was a story Issac had never told Zane or any of their other friends, the real reason he was at that daycare everyday. It wasn't because his dad worked, no, it was because his dad never came back to get him. He'd placed all his trust and loyalty in the other male, and nothing scared him more than the thought of losing him to Marcus. Who was someone he could never make like him, it was like he didn't realize that Issac couldn't control the caustic burns that his touch meerly caused. "I won't hurt you again... I promise."
When Gaz saw Lilith move to Uri's side, he elbowed Zag pretty hard only get a soft growl like always in return. Somethings never changed. "That's your daughter, act like her father for once." his tone was quiet but sharp, and the darker shade of purple took a deep breath and settled his thoughts. He dropped down to his knees in front of them and ran his fingers through her long, light brown locks. "Uri... I'm not going to leave you." his tone was warm for once, a completely different person almost. The child glanced up to him and squirmed closer to Black, "No infection will change how special you are to me..." there was an obvious hitch to his voice as if he might be holding back tears himself. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to keep it from you or anyone else." he glanced away now, moving his hands back to his lap. The secondary took the time to walk around the three of them and into the kitchen with the other's. He figured that Uri needed the motherly comfort more than her dull uncle's staring.
The foxling sat up some, looking between Lilith and Zag with an empty, almost scarily vacant expression. "I've heard the same thing... the same lines." she let her head fall to one side, foxlike ears pulled tightly against her hair, "He told me that too. He said he'd be back, dad, and he never came back. Giro said the same thing, and he's been gone for eight months. N-now you're saying it too... it's only a matter of time before y-you're gone." she gripped Lilith's shirt, burying her face against the female's shoulder. Her words seemed to drive a knife right into Zag's heart as he froze up. He took a deep breath, "I'm sorry, Uri. I won't leave you, no one ever will again. Me, Lilly, and Gaz will make sure no one does it again..." that seemed to strike a note as she peeked from where she was clinging, "P-promise...?"

Zane lifted up his head once he heard Issac's voice. His heart fluttered a little, and he spun around and got off his knees. Standing behind the closed door as he pressed his forehead against it, his hand gently pressed against the door as he spoke. Feeling sad that the door was keeping them apart, he slowly opened it peeking out. His eyes were still filled with tears as he looked at Issac in the eyes with hope. "You P-promise...?" He asked then blinking his eyes, letting the tears swell up again. "I.. I am sorry, Issa..." He looked down, tears still sliding down his cheeks. "I... I'll promise that I won't l-leave you alone anymore..." He whimpered out, he reached out and wrapped his arms around the others shoulders while nuzzling his face into his neck, wanting to comfort him somehow. To show that he meant his promise and was going to keep it until his very last breath.
Lilith was sitting there with the foxling, still cradling her in her arms while Zag talked with her. The way Uri cheered up at the end pleased her in a way that she let of the child and canted her head to look at her. "I'll promise too! If your father tries to leave, I'll kick his butt back to you, Uri. Anyone who tries to leave. You're such a strong girl, sweetheart..." She gave a quick wink to the girl with a smile before glancing at Zag with a sheepish smile. There wasn't much else she could do or say she placed her hands on the floor while leaning back, turning her head to follow were Gazzy had went. The sky was getting kind of darker now that the sun was most likely setting above the clouds. The way the clouds were forming gave her the chills and want a hug. It was terrifying. It was so unnatural in a way that she averted her eyes almost instantly.
After Kari got her full, it was about time she found something for Loki to nibble on. The snake ate a large variety of things, and here's the catch. He would eat anything other than insects at times only if Kari's saliva was on it. She learned this when she was eating in her room, watching TV with Loki on her bare stomach. She always had a warm temperature which scared Lilith when she was younger because when she would get a fever it sky rocketed. Anyways, she laughed an a piece of meat flew out by him and she got so embarrassed that when she was about to pick the piece of meat up he dove for it and swallowed it whole. Slithering up, close to her face expecting more. Ever since then that's another way she has been feeding it. She grabbed a few pieces of fruit and glanced at Roka. "I'm going back up to your room, I left Loki under your bed. Uhh.." She looked down at her newly designed clothes and looked for the absent Uri who had helped her before. She'll figure out how to reattach everything.

Day 00

Post by Purple on Jun 11, 2014 19:31:48 GMT
The embrace caught him off gaurd, and he was terrified to return the gesture. He didn't want to burn him again, but it'd be rude not to atleast try to reply to the affections. As carefully as physically possible, he wrapped his arms around the slightly shorter male and gave him a protective squeeze. "I won't leave you either. Either of you.." his tone was quiet, almost a purr as he brought a hand to slowly brush through the other male's hair. He felt kind of awkward standing in the hallway, and he still wanted to make sure the other's shoulder was alright, so he eased the two of them into the rather large bathroom, using his foot to shut the door behind them. "I-Is your arm okay? I didn't mean to burn you as bad as I did.." his scratchy voice was warmer now, yellow eyes not quite as bright, and to his amazement, he was controlling the acid touch almost perfectly. The cold that was natural to Zane's skin seemed to help ease the caustic film over his own, he let his gaurd down, still playing his fingers through bluegrey tresses.
Finally, Uri let Lilith go and turned to Zag, quickly wrapping her arms around his frame and just freezing there. "Thank you." she spoke to both of them, making sure they were both aware she was okay now. It wasn't uncommon for her to break, especially after Giro had died, it was like her emotions got a bit heavier at times. The zombified color returned the embrace before Zag broke it for her own safety. "No more sad, you go play with Eventide so Lil and I can go find something to eat." his words seemed to get a nod as the little girl was already bounding back toward the kitchen, he sighed and stood. Offering a hand to help the darker color up, "Thanks, Lilith, Uri's a bit... of a handful at times." he smiled a bit awkwardly with his still tensed stitches.
When Roka heard Kari, he'd gave a bright grin, "Okie dokie! You can move whatever you need around!" once he'd finished his little affirmation to her, he'd glanced to Gaz who was still digging around the fridge. "What're you looking for?" he jogged over and ducked between the older male's legs so he could pop up in front of him. He smiled when the other male glanced down at him with a chuckle, "Something to drink, kiddo." he ruffled his hair and tugged him out of the way once he'd closed the fridge with some namebrand sugar-soda in hand. Gaz's attention went to Kari before she could leave, "Kari, tomorrow morning I'll show you how to use that saw. We did some work on it, so it should work better now." he smiled, "Made it lighter too, don't want to be weighed down." the fatherly tone of his voice was almost offset by the creepy fact he knew so much about modifying already custom chainsaws.

The shorter boy lifted his head from his affectionate nuzzle, already forgetting that Issac had little self control over his acidic touch. In a way they were the same, and that made Zane happy, even more ecstatic when he was promised that he wouldn't be left alone, even if Marcus tends to push everyone out. He will always stay. He let him lead them both back into the bathroom with the door closed behind them, and thinking back to a movie him and his mother would occasionally watch together on the sofa on rainy days. Romance movies. He looked at his ice covered arm that now reverted to frost, telling him that his body was cooling of the burning sensation. "Mhm.. I-It only stings a little..." But back to his thought, violet curious eyes wondered how Issac would react. A little embarrassed to do this, but he wanted to show Issac he cared about him a little more than a friend would to another friend, and even though he didn't quite understand the action himself he leant forward closing his eyes and planting a kiss on the greens lips. Pulling back from the kiss Reopening his eyes while his cheeks flushed to red. "Th-thank you, Issac... I love y-you..." He lowered his gaze, feeling a tad confused to why he kissed a boy.
Taking the zombified purples hand, before hoisting herself up. "No problem, Zac. I have a little girl myself too, and well... Boys must be a lot easier than they are." She laughed light heartedly before making her way to the kitchen. Seeing Gaz grab a soda can, she clasped her hands together childishly and hopped over. Black hair swaying back and forth behind her. Excitedly she lightly nudged Gaz to the side with her hip before extending a hand and rustling Roka's hair. "So many children! So many cute kids! I want more!" She said jokingly while she looked at Gaz before laughing. Reaching into the fridge and selecting a beverage for herself.
Kari stopped with handfuls of fruit, looking to Gaz like a deer caught in headlights. "UHN... Sure! Thanks a lot, da... Um.. Gaz.." She blushed and hurried her way upstairs and into Roka's room. Up there she slide her torso underneath the bed, pushing past stuff that were most likely more of the boys' creations that didn't fit into the closet. Finding the snake she nudged its little head with her finger before licking the juices off of a strawberry. "You almost called him 'dad'... Agh, Kari. You're so embarrassing." She whined, while the snake opened its little lime green eyes to peer at her smelling food, slithering its way over to her.

Day 00
Jun 11, 2014 20:36:47 GMT
Post by Purple on Jun 11, 2014 20:36:47 GMT
"I'm gla--" their lips met, his bright yellow eyes went wide until the other had pulled away. "I.. I love you too." his tone was shaky, as if those were words that weren't quite in his vocabulary. Was he supposed to kiss him back? He had no clue, so he just went with it. Issac was a bit more awkward as he bent some to press his lips back to the other male's. Is this how it worked? He'd never really been around much affection, it made his whole body warmer than normal. Issac lifted a hand, maybe to brush the other's hair out of his eyes, but when he felt his fingers sizzle, he simply dropped it back to his side, he didn't want to burn him again. That was his main fear, he had no idea why sometimes he could feel that static build up in his hands, it honestly scared him far worse than any ice ever did. People could die from the cold, yes, but people melted when he touched them... that just seemed so much scarier. Just the thought of that happening to Zane, or even Marcus, always bothered him, but he was controlling it right now, enough to press a bit more into the innocent little kiss.
The secondary was already cracking open his soda when the female danced by, he gave her a grin, he'd missed that energy. "Ah! Of course! Ten more!~" he teased back and lifted himself to sit on the counter. Gaz wouldn't admit it, but Kari's near-slip-up had made him pretty happy, especially since only Roka seemed to call him dad. It was a warm fuzzy feeling, nonetheless. Zag on the other hand? He was seemingly distracted at the window, looking toward the sky, that was creepier than he was. In the same notion, he dropped the blinds and pulled the curtains, the stagger in his walk getting more obvious thanks to his messed up leg. How could he survive a chainsaw but the zombie virus takes his balence? Pathetic! Zag plopped down at the table, picking up one of the remaining strawberries and chomping down. Of course, Eventide who was still blankly standing there's eyes went wide, "Oh! I forgot to feed my... ferret." he glanced around.
He quickly went to the fridge and grabbed a black bag from the bottom shelf, "I'll... be back." Eventide was quick to depart the room, his tentacles somewhat bobbing along behind him before he turned the corner to his room and unlocked the door. It was dark inside, just like always, he hit the switch and his candle shaped lights flickered on, barely illuminating the room. Inside, the walls were coated in cultic looking papers and posters to various gore-horror movies. It fit his personality, that was sure. His bedding was all black with leather cuffs and chains hanging from the head, various baseball jerseys were thrown across the bottom. The kid was strange, if nothing more than mentally disturbed, but he was a good kid when he was out of his room. At his desk, a figure sat staring at the computer screen, some movie aimlessly playing while it simply laid there. "Hungry?" his tone picked up after the door was cracked shut, it'd be easy for someone to peek in. The actual zombie looked up, nodding as Eventide slipped over and brought scissors up to cut the skin that would always grow back over his pet's lip at night. Despite his grimm appearance, he was still Eventide's boyfriend, and the affectionate little nuzzle would show that was very mutual still. He placed the black bag containing various human fingers in front of him. While he ate, the purple shade would lean against his shoulder, aimlessly staring at the monitor as if this was just another typical Friday night.
