Yes, even we have them.
.] Refrain from god-modding when it comes to the point to actually need to use combat based roleplay. We try to refrain from user[v]user violence, but I'm sure it'll happen eventually. That being said, you can die. That's how it is. While everyone should get a turn, please do mind their limitations and the fact that... As I said. YOU CAN DIE. You're not immortal. In fact, after you die we simply just toss your mangled corpse into a tube of nasty orange fluids until you've successfully regenerated. Bodies are fragile, colors are not.
.] To each color is a male and a female, if a color is taken... mind the genders. With that being said, please do not take a color that is already taken! This can make things complicated for both mods and players. Also, please help yourself to tying unused colors to your storyline and then recruiting your own players.
.] Anime (or something not realistic) is what we aim for. That means do not bring 100% photographs in and claim they are your character. It messes with the flow of things, I apologize. Also, it makes it less awkward for potential face-claims. (Sorry, guys.)
.] Please do not report random BS to the mods. We do not care about the drama you start, handle it yourself. We're not your parents. We just keep things organized around here. Let's all be equals and take care of our own problems.
.] We post in third-person here. Nothing more, nothing less. Also, please atleast ATTEMPT novel style posting. (No asterisks or "action marks".) Aside from that, your style is for you to determine. Just please, bare with us about the asterisks. It's just much more formal to use novella.
.] Keep your OOC drama to yourself. This is a place for the colors and things related to them. So if you *somehow* end up having problems with a user, simply ignore them. Don't just target people for no reason, that will result in immediate banning. (Sorry!)
.] Please do not post shotacon|lolicon threads. If you must engage in this type of play, I recommend heading over to Chatzy where many users do not have to read it.
.] TAG YOUR TRIGGERS. We have users who are going to be touchy about certain topics, so if you think a roleplay might get gory or go in a non-consensual direction, PLACE A TRIGGER WARNING AT THE BEGINNING OF THE THREAD. This keeps you and us from dealing with that situation.
.] ProBoards has a no smut rule, where we do not. Seeing as I do not care, I would not make it a public trend for specific reasons. (Mainly the threat of getting our forum taken off their server. So, smut should also be taken over to Chatzy.) This isn't typically a problem for us, but... it's a nice warning to throw out there.
.] PLEASE. READ. THE. GUIDELINES. WHEN. YOU. FINISH. THIS. It will help us all understand the situation if we're all aware of the things that will be going on! All the spectral information from before and after the Fallout will also be posted. This being updated over time as the plot is drove out and replaced with various customs.
.] If something seems off about the plot, it's probably meant to be filled in by your imagination. We have a lot of colors, whether they are actively played or NPC, which gives us plenty of open or active plot. Remember, even the past has a plot.
.] Finally, there's no real rules to the roleplay itself. It's mostly just player hints. This is a post fallout roleplay. (Think Fallout, and then think about not-quite deserts.) It's hard to explain in a 'rules' page, so that will also be located in the guides, followed by important spectral information. (That's things based on the colors.
Any Questions? Please ask them!
